Brighton's Mod Weekender is - along with the Artist Open Houses - my absolute favorite thing to do in Brighton. I'm a scooter girl without a scooter (sadly. See 'About' page.) I've been attending, immersing, imbibing, conversing at three of these things so far. This year I even made some friends! Below are my images from this year's event - which took place on the last weekend in August, 2022 (Bank Holiday Weekend). This is the site (Volks Cafe) where the original clashes took place in 1964 between the mods and rockers. Supposedly. Anyhoo, hope you enjoy them. Want to see past years' images? Here is 2018, and here's 2019. I didn't go during Covid, as I assumed the turnout would be low - so I missed 2020 and 2021. Click on the first image for full frame, then click thru/arrow/swipe.
WE ARE THE MODS!
